<p>I am a fighter in the SCA ,studying Kali from a great teacher. I am also a tattooist , body piercer, and stay at home mom. I just got my reiki masters not long ago. I dont do much kick boxing any more after being hit by a drunk driver. Kali lets me work within my limits , it helps that i work with a man that can laugh, and not have the rock star complex. I have had the pleasure of making my own boiled leather armor and wear it with pride, it was designed for a woman so moves with me in stead of impairing my movements. I&nbsp;am trying to not use a shild when i fight&nbsp;in the sca , that is where my kali training comes in, but i was told by some one i trust&nbsp;that it &nbsp;would not be a good idea, so i am still on the fence about it&nbsp;. My very first fight i had to choose another fighter to meet on the field so i chose the biggest one there, hahahah god i squealed like a girl and hid behind my shild. His name was Fergus , He hit like a car and was as big as a mountain i looked like a ant compared to him and i felt i was going to pee my self when he came at me. The black bruises i had later that night were well worth it. I took a pain pill and went to sleep. But you know what, i will always pic the best on the field no matter what, becouse they teach me to move and what i am doing wrong.</p>...

Hello, I have been studying and practicing Filipino Martial Arts for about 10 years. I started in traditional Kung Fu then got more interested in weapon arts. I chose to focus my studies on the Filipino art of stick and knife fighting because of it's practicality and various techniques that can be easily used in real defense situations. I am interested in meeting others studying Filipino Martial Arts and also meeting others interested in Martial Arts in general....
