I'm a 3rd Dan in Tang Soo Do, and have been studying for about 24 years. I've been instructing for only a short time, mostly 3-10 year-olds. I love martial arts and have informally studied a number of styles so that my teachings are more of a mix. I don't believe in relying on one particular style....

<p> Sifu Kurtis Fujita is the Head Instructor of the Hung Gar Kung Fu and Chi Kung classes at the Flying Eagle Martial Arts School in Simi Valley, California. He has also served as a Guest Instructor at The Ventura County Police and Sheriff’s Reserve Officer Academy on several occasions, teaching the Police Cadets hand to hand combat techniques.</p>

<p> As a student of renowned Grand Master Y.C. Wong, he learned the Hung Gar System of Kung Fu as well as elements of Tai Chi, Pek Kwar, and I-Chuan. On numerous occasions he traveled with Grand Master Wong to Hong Kong and Mainland China to further his studies. Eventually, he was approved to teach Kung Fu by Grand Master Wong himself.</p>

<p> Upon moving to Southern California, Sifu Fujita was introduced to Grand Master Raymond Wong of Rosemead by Sigung Y.C. Wong. It was during this time that he gained exposure to the styles of My Jong Law Horn, Tai Mantis, and Dao Gar under the tutelage of Grand Master Raymond Wong.</p>
