I am a martial artist trained in Eskrima/Serrada under Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin. I have been with his association, International Eskrima/Serrada Association, for four years. I began training on and off in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been directly under Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin for the past two years.   

I have been promoted to a junior instructor, which is great honor to be the youngest, the first woman and the first latina to receive this title in I.E.S.A.

I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have and continue to acquire from Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin, to those who are interested in learning the art in its truest form. One of my biggest goals, is to bring more women to this art, to not only show them how to defend themselves, but to also give them confidence in themselves and also demand the respect that they deserve.

I hope in networking with people that are true and interested in keeping the martial arts alive in its truest and purest form.

The International Eskrima/Serrada Association was formed with the blessing of the late Grandmaster Angel
Cabales by Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin.

IESA’s founder, Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin became a Master in this system, having earned diploma #7 before
the age of 21.

Pangulong Guro Sultan Uddin is recognized as one of the fastest stick and blade-fighters in the world

This Association was formed to continue the tradition of Pilipino/Malay martial arts and culture
(Such as Eskrima and Gayong).

IESA’s mission is to continue to teach the dynamic and devastating system known as Eskrima/Serrada.

Dealing with concepts from armed to unarmed kombat, Eskrima/Serrada is an art that is fully complete.
